Hi, I’m Matthew
I design and build websites, web applications, and the systems that run behind them. Silver Sphere is my studio, and when you hire it you work with me directly rather than through an account manager.
That ranges from a Shopify storefront for a family bakery to an AI platform that two national brands run inside their own websites. Same person on both.

One person, start to finish
Most shops are good at one altitude. They’ll build a nice brochure site but can’t stand up an API, or they’ll architect a platform and hand you something nobody on your team can edit. I work at both ends on purpose, because most real businesses need some of each.
I did the design on nearly every project on this site as well as the build, which is why they hold together. And I’m still maintaining most of them years later.
I also spend time in the room with teams, running on-site workshops on using AI tools inside the workflows they already have rather than in the abstract.

What I hold to
Design and build in the same hands
The person who designs it is the person who builds it, so nothing gets lost being handed between a design shop and a developer. It also means the design never promises something the build can't do.
The boring parts matter most
Load times, form validation, where a lead actually goes after someone hits submit. The unglamorous plumbing is usually the difference between a site that looks good and a site that earns.
Right-sized technology
Some clients need a platform across three codebases. Some need a Shopify store they can manage themselves. I'll tell you which one you are, even when it's the smaller number.
I stay after launch
Most of these clients have been with me for years, not weeks. Launch is the start of the engagement. New features, new pages, and keeping the thing running are the actual job.
